After every Little League game, we’d go to Regular Johns Pizza. It had sawdust on the floor and a Fire engine from the 30’s parked out front. There were gross lollipop sticks on the wooden floor boards of the truck, but that didn’t stop us from playing. Huge pitchers of Root Beer for us kids, bigger pitchers of Beer for the parents. But, hands down, the bestest of all was the video games in the corner. I could have put a down payment on a house with the amount of quarters I threw down those change slots.
Without question, my favorite ever was Dragon’s Lair. It was a laserdisc video game published by Cinematronics in 1983. Left, Left, Right. Ahh no, the cartoon hero falls to his death.
Today, we are releasing one of the coolest Television Documentary Series Ever Made. Well, it’s great and I’m really proud of it. I Executive Produced this project and it has taken many years to bring to the small screen. We have no Studio or Network behind the project, which makes the achievement so much more gratifying. The creator is Jeremy Snead and he is an amazing individual. I’ve never met a more determined person and I played Rudy. His dogged pursuit of his vision is nothing short of a miracle.
Quite simply, Jeremy wants anyone and everyone to appreciate just how extraordinary the world of video games really is. The industry makes more money per year than movies, television, music and sports. Yet, most people don’t have the foggiest idea of what goes into making these games, this entertainment.
So, check out the trailer… you can get it on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and more…
